Omreg (Ohm-Reg) Engineering, LLC was founded by Dustin Germo after venturing into entrepreneurship from a successful corporate engineering career.
Dustin has a Computer Engineering Degree with a Computer Science Minor from the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology. He also has an MBA from the University of Iowa Tippie College of Business.
John Deere
Dustin joined John Deere in 2011 as a manufacturing controls engineer in their Fargo, North Dakota factory. Through increasing responsibilities across the country and globally, Dustin's most recent role was John Deere's Smart Connected Factory Program manager at the World Wide Headquarters in Moline, Illinois. In this role, he was responsible for delivering an industry leading technology strategy and culture at Deere.
Alliant Techsystems
Prior to joining John Deere, Dustin held positions of increasing responsibility in Electrical Engineering at the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant in Independence, Missouri. These roles were focused on modernizing ammunition manufacturing equipment that began service in WWII.
Dustin specializes in growing strong foundations in controls, automation, and data collection capabilities. He successfully navigates the hands-on work as well as building strategies and teams around this technology throughout his career.
